The Campos Meta Formula One team, one of several newcomers due to make their debuts in Bahrain next week, has changed its name to Hispania Racing (HRT F1), the team announced on Wednesday.
Karun Chandhok is in the final stages of talks with Campos Meta Formula One team for a drive in the 2010 season, his manager said on Friday. Spain's Campos, one of four new teams in an expanded F1 grid in the new season, have so far named only one driver, Brazilian Bruno Senna, nephew of late F1 world champion Ayrton Senna and Chandhok's former GP2 team mate.

Karun Chandhok has no illusions about what awaits him this weekend when India's sole Formula One driver makes his debut barely a week after sealing the deal. His new Spanish-based HRT team, formerly Campos Meta, have not even conducted a shakedown test of the Cosworth-powered car after narrowly winning a race just to get it ready for the Bahrain season-opener.
